Trying Out BCC Rides 2023

Visitors: If you are visiting in the area and already have an Ontario Cycling Club membership with another club, you are welcome to join us for up to three rides. At least 24 hours before you join a group, you must first contact club President, Carol Kay and Ride Leader Coordinator, Joe Fortnum to inform them of your intent to join a ride. You are required to show proof of OC Club membership before joining a ride.

New to group riding: You are required to come to the Wednesday night “Learn to Group Ride” sessions (1st line of Oro Township, Rail Trail Parking lot, 6:30 roll out so arrive by 6:15 at the latest). The first 10 Wednesdays are open for free (May 3rd to July 5th. 2023), but you must register and complete the Club Try-out Participant Waiver Acknowledgement Online Form on the OC website at least 24 hours beforehand and then contact club President, Carol Kay and Ride Leader Coordinator, Joe Fortnum to inform them of your intent to join a ride. After July 5th 2023, anyone interested in trying out the club must complete the waivers for the new OC Day Pass, pay the OC fee of $15 and then contact club President, Carol Kay and Ride Leader Coordinator, Joe Fortnum to inform them of your intent to join a ride. This covers the necessary cycling insurance.

Experienced group rider: If you are an experienced group rider, but do not have an Ontario Cycling Club membership, you are welcome to join us for two rides. You must complete the waivers new OC Club Day Pass HERE , pay the OC fee of $15 and then contact club President, Carol Kay and Ride Leader Coordinator, Joe Fortnum to inform them of your intent to join a ride. This covers the necessary cycling insurance.
